Warnings
The warranty will be void if caustic or abrasive coolant is used, as this may lead to pump failure. It is important not to operate the pump without any fluid. The PC water-cooling pumps are designed to be self-lubricating, meaning that the fluid not only creates flow but also lubricates the internal components.
Running the pumps without fluid can cause internal friction between the ceramic bearing and bearing housing, potentially leading to the housing cracking or melting due to generated heat. Signs that the pump has been run dry include visual scratches inside the housing, stress cracks, or melting in the bearing housing, and the impeller sitting too low.
Operating Bykski pumps without fluid voids the warranty and replacements will not be provided under these circumstances.
